BoardKit Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy covers the BoardKit for Trello Chrome extension (“BoardKit”), made by Noodlehead (“we”). In short: BoardKit has no servers of its own, contains no analytics or tracking, and never sells or shares your data.
What BoardKit accesses
Trello pages and board data
BoardKit runs only on trello.com. To show card numbers and label names, it reads the
Trello page in your browser. When you click Export board, it reads that board’s
data (cards, lists, labels, members’ names, checklists, comments, attachment names and links, and
custom fields) from Trello’s API, using the Trello login you already have in your browser.
This data is processed entirely in your browser to build the file you asked for, which is saved to your computer. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and BoardKit doesn’t keep a copy.
Settings and usage counters
Your feature settings (which features are on or off) are stored with Chrome’s extension storage and, if you use Chrome Sync, synced by Google between your own devices. The number of free exports you’ve used is stored locally in your browser.
Payments
Payments are handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process cards. When BoardKit is installed, ExtensionPay registers an anonymous identifier for your installation so it can later tell whether you have paid. If you buy Pro, you enter your email address and payment details on ExtensionPay’s and Stripe’s pages; BoardKit never sees your card details. ExtensionPay lets BoardKit check whether you have paid. We can see purchase records (such as your email address and purchase date) in the ExtensionPay dashboard, and use them only to provide support and refunds. ExtensionPay and Stripe handle your data under their own privacy policies.
What BoardKit doesn’t do
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or fingerprinting.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your data with third parties.
- No access to websites other than
trello.com(and ExtensionPay’s own pages during checkout). - No remote code: everything BoardKit runs is included in the extension package.
Chrome Web Store user data policy
The use of information received by BoardKit adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide BoardKit’s features to you.
Your choices
You can turn individual features off on BoardKit’s options page. Uninstalling BoardKit removes its settings and counters from your browser. To ask about or delete purchase records, email support@noodlehead.dev.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the extension’s release notes.
